This weekend I shall be mainly reading Teach Your Granny to Text and Other Ways to Change the World. The basic premise is that lots of people taking small actions can make the world a better place. For instance if every school child in the UK smiled to the 300 people they encounter everyday then every person in the UK would be smiled to at least 5 times – a surefire way to make the world a better place (or just freak people out in London). Other favourites are ‘Why you should ask Why more’ and ‘How not to start a war’ – particularly good advice for any of you hoping to be Prime Minister one day.
I find it a great way to help me think and see things a little differently, but you might want to try a few just because they are fun, simple and, well, have the potential to make the world a better place.
